Our social investment is founded on the premise of “the right to a better life”.  Our policy includes the following

• Supporting organisations that promote values
• Investing in projects that are socially driven and result to better life especially in poor areas
• Consider areas that our clients either operate in, get their business or are located, etc
• Supporting organisations (e.g. orphanage, old age, disability homes, etc provided they are legitimately registered with authorities) that provide basic needs like shelter, food, medicines, clothing, etc
• Specifically for up and coming future leaders (i.e. children and youth) Hilltop sponsors exceptional talents (sports, academic, creativity, singing, etc).  
• Disaster stricken areas
  
  

Hilltop sets aside a percentage of profits to fund CSI on an annual basis

At Hilltop we are honoured to take part and be of service to Peggy Chauke’s vision of educating (and housing some of) our future leaders some of whom have lost their parents.  Leratong does not only offer pre-schooling but also provides meals for those kids who leave below R1 per day and house some of these children who do not have a shelter.
